The Nettle soap bar is a natural shampoo, made with cold process. It contains carefully chosen butters, oils, and active ingredients for hair and scalp care.

Unlike synthetic chemicals in regular shampoos, natural ingredients in the Nettle shampoo gently and thoroughly clean hair and scalp. They don't damage the protective skin layer. That's why the hair stops being oily, dandruff starts to be produced in smaller quantities and the hair looks healthier and shiny.

How to adapt to a natural shampoo

Healthy hair doesn't ned gloss to shine, because they are shiny and beautiful all by itself. You only need to let them do their job. When you decide to switch from commercial synthetic shampoo to a natural shampoo, the hair is in shock for quite some time. How long the shock and its unpleasant effects last varies from individual to individual. The hair and the scalp need some time to get used to the new routine, to get some air, and to regain balance. When you get started, you might notice that the hair is hard and wiry/stringy. This is common if your hair gets a lot of treatment or if it's colored because the shampoo bar cleans them thoroughly even if the ingredients are gentle. In this case, we advise that you rinse your hair with diluted apple vinegar (ratio 1:10). This occurs only temporarily until the hair cleans all synthetic compounds (usually with a negative charge). The main difference between commercial and natural shampoo bars is that natural shampoos do not contain aggressive foam agents like SLS/SLES and similar synthetic chemicals. SLS/SLES is an aggressive so called surfactant, present in most commercial liquids for cleaning because it enables that the product produces large quantities of foam. SLS/SLES is an extremely aggressive compound that damages the oily protective layer of our skin. These damages on the scalp are the main reason for different issues with hair and scalp.

When the protective layer is damaged, the scalp reacts in such a way that it forms an excessive quantity of grease which shows as greasy hair. Greasy hair demand washing hair frequently, which additionally damages the scalp's protective skin layer. That's how a user of synthetic shampoos is in a vicious circle, where hair problems only accumulate. In many cases, damages to the protective skin layer may result in excessive skin exfoliation or falling hair.

The shampoo bar is suitable for all types and lengths of hair. When switching from conventional shampoo to a natural one, users have found that the hair volume has become bigger, dandruff has reduced, the hair has become less greasy and shinier. Active ingredients:

• Olive oil, cocoa butter, coconut butter, babassu oil, Ricinus oil, and grapeseed oil offers a great ratio of fatty acids for great hair and scalp care.
• They make a consistent and rich foam, which cleans the hair in depth but does not dry them out.
• The wild nettle extract is rich in vitamins and minerals, which make the hair strong.
• The combination of rosemary, lavender and mint essential oils reduce dandruff, hair falling out and it makes them stronger.

Use

1. Wet your hair.

2. Rub the shampoo between your hands to make a consistent foam and apply it to the hair. You can also rub the shampoo on your hair.

3. Massage the shampoo in your scalp and hair from root to end.

4. Carefully chosen butters and oils make a consistent foam.

5. When you're done, wash the shampoo out of your hair.

6. After you finish, put the soap in a dry place, or it will get soft. This happens because it's a cold process soap.

Usually, it's enough if you repeat the process once. If you use the shampoo regularly, you won't need a moisturizer as the hair will become lively, healthy, and shiny.
